Akiko Takakura, one of the few people within 500 metres of ground zero to survive the atomic bombing of Hiroshima, recalls in her own voice how, amid the destruction, she found a rare moment of closeness with her father. Her memories are told through hand-drawn animation, woven around the Obon festival of the dead.
