Asami Hosokawa

Asami Hosokawa is a Japanese festival organiser and curator, born in 1977 in Tokyo, who specialises in planning and exhibition work. After university she worked in exhibition production and management for a television broadcaster and spent a year in Canada; since 2008 she has worked for festivals, including the Japan Media Arts Festival (from 2008) and the exhibition "art and collective intelligence" at YCAM (2013). She has been involved with the Sapporo International Art Festival since its first edition in 2014 as secretariat manager, curated an exhibition at SIAF2024 and is a Festival Director of SIAF2027.
