Tetarape is a two-minute abstract animation by Boris Labbé, drawn in ink and watercolour on paper and finished on computer. Elementary forms taken from Ainu textile patterns evolve endlessly through repetition, moving in rhythm with traditional Ainu music. It is one of four short films in the Sirki cycle made for the Ainu Cultural Space minapa in Sapporo.
