Armelle Mercat
Also known as: Armelle Mercat-Junot
Armelle Mercat (Mercat-Junot) is a French animation director and illustrator born in Clermont-Ferrand. She studied at the fine arts school of Orléans, including six months at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, and graduated in 2012 from the La Poudrière animation film school in Bourg-lès-Valence. She directed the hand-drawn shorts Tête d'Olive (2017) and Colocation sauvage (2022), both produced by Girelle in Orléans, and has worked on animation and visual effects for other directors, including Boris Labbé's La Chute.
