A looping animated short built around the Latin palindrome "In girum imus nocte et consumimur igni" ("we go round in the night and are consumed by fire"), which the filmmaker links to life as something you find yourself in the middle of and cannot see coming. The Fantoche festival programme reads it as a warning that dictators do not come out of nowhere: some people want them to come, some do not feel the need to resist, others think it is better to wait.
