Roberto Biadi

Roberto Biadi is an Italian animator, illustrator and cartoonist, born in Grosseto in 1983 and based in Turin. He moves between experimental short films and commissioned work for communication agencies and brands, and also works in graphic novels, writing, painting and videomaking; he was an in-house video art director at Independent Ideas before going freelance and now teaches illustration at IAAD in Turin. His animated shorts H and Shunga have received awards and mentions at several festivals. He published The Swastika on the Sun (AkinaBooks, London) and, in 2024, his debut graphic novel Le nuvole del soffitto (add editore).
