Prisoner and Jailer

Two Libyans on opposite sides of history, a key official of the former regime and a prominent figure of the post-revolutionary period, face each other as their roles of captor and victim are reversed. Through them the film revisits the circumstances of the Abu Salim prison massacre, in which more than 1,200 political prisoners were killed within a few hours, drawing most of its events and dialogue from testimonies of former prisoners and wardens.
