Vera Pavlova is a director, animator and puppet maker. She started as an editor and journalist, graduated from the Institute of Asian and African Studies at Moscow State University and worked as a TASS correspondent in China and Japan. She has worked in animation since 2017, completing the puppet animation (2017) and animation directing (2018) courses at Tseh animatsii. Since 2021 she has studied animation directing in Igor Kovalev's workshop at Soyuzmultfilm, and she leads stop-motion workshops, including those of the Big Cartoon Festival's Cartoon Factory.
