Heart

An animated music video for the song "Serdtse" (Heart) by the Russian band Auktyon, from the 2020 album Mechty, made by the Tseh animatsii team during the 2020–2021 lockdown. It is about keeping the fire in one's heart and sharing it even at a distance. The pandemic scattered the artists across different cities, so many stages were done on computers; after the lockdown they reunited and drew snow and fire into every frame by hand in pastel and gouache, combining rotoscope and stop-motion.
