Max Bruckert

Max Bruckert is an electronic musician, computer music designer (réalisateur en informatique musicale) and sound engineer who works with GRAME in Lyon. Trained as a guitarist and bassist, he studied instrumental and acousmatic composition at the CNR de Lyon from 1999 and co-founded the Kolektif Undata. He joined GRAME in 2004, first in charge of educational activities and then as a computer music designer assisting composers in residence, and since 2012 he has also worked as a sound engineer and sound designer for ensembles and dance, theatre and circus companies. He teaches signal processing with MaxMSP in the professional master's programme for computer music designers at the musicology faculty in Saint-Étienne.
