Any Road

A film version of an audiovisual concert piece by animator Boris Labbé and composer Daniele Ghisi, built on the logic of the arcade game Pong. Fragments of speech and sound are batted back and forth like a ball over a travel diary of shifting images: a view from a train window, an endless fall, contours turning into pictures. The title comes from Alice in Wonderland: "so long as I get somewhere."
