Jonathan Laskar

Jonathan Laskar is an animation filmmaker whose training spans fine arts, music and architecture. After working as an architect in Basel, he studied animation in Lucerne, graduating with From Earth and Ink in 2013. He has since worked in Geneva with filmmakers including Georges Schwizgebel, Claude Luyet and Patrick Chappatte. His short film The Record (2022) received the Swiss Film Award for best animation.
