Soirées du cinéma russe de Bordeaux

The festival presents Russian cinema to audiences in Bordeaux, with every film shown in the original version with French subtitles. The programme combines new Russian fiction, documentary and animation with a heritage section of Soviet cinema, alongside concerts, exhibitions and a children's club. Its In Ciné Veritas short-film competition is aimed at debut directors; in 2021 it ran as In Ciné Veritas Europe, with a focus on filmmakers from the former USSR, Central and Eastern Europe and the Balkans.

The first edition took place on 14–15 April 2009. The festival is organised by the association Centre des Festivals France-Russie and is held under the patronage of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in France, with support from the City of Bordeaux and the Russian Ministry of Culture. The latest edition on the official site is the tenth, on 9–14 December 2021.
