Paris Courts Devant connects finished films with projects still taking shape through public screenplay readings, pitch sessions and creative laboratories. Founded in 2004 and organised by Association Courts Devant in Paris, France, the festival focuses on emerging filmmakers, screenwriters and performers. Its programme combines a short-film competition, previews of first feature films, masterclasses and discussions with film professionals. The Scénarios Vivants strand gives short-film scripts and short-series projects a public presentation, while Les Petits Courts Devant introduces primary-school audiences to short cinema.

The 21st edition dates are 15–22 January 2027, at Cinéma 7 Batignolles and Centre Paris Anim’ Mado Robin in Paris’s 17th arrondissement.
