One Shot International Short Film Festival pairs a competition for unedited one-minute films with Short Films and Cinema Without Borders in Yerevan, Armenia. The latter welcomes experimental cinema, video art and feature-length work, with particular attention to human rights. The festival accepts films made with any shooting technology and supports independent filmmaking in Armenia through screenings, special programmes and discussions.
The festival dates back to 2003, with Gagik Ghazareh as founding president and the Armenian Center for Contemporary Experimental Art as founding organisation. Open Platform For Art NGO holds its rights. Its sculptural symbol draws on an ancient Geghama Mountains rock carving. The 24th edition dates are 8–15 June 2026.

Festival rules
2026 edition regulations; the submission period closes on 10 April 2026.
Eligibility and submission

Work must be completed within the two years before the festival; the Armenian-language rules specify production from 1 January 2024. Unfinished films, demos and promotional samples are ineligible. Screening copies must have suitable picture and sound quality. The filmmaker must control the necessary rights, including images and sound; the festival accepts no liability for copyright violations. No shooting-medium restrictions apply.
One Minute One Shot
The film itself lasts exactly 60 seconds, preceded by 10 seconds of opening titles. It must consist of a single shot: cuts, combining separate shots and chroma-key compositing are prohibited. Animation may use frame-by-frame techniques, but direct editing between separate scenes or shot sizes is forbidden. Subject, genre and expression are unrestricted. Entry fee: USD 1.
Short Films
Maximum running time is 30 minutes, including titles. Animation is excluded from this category. Entry fee: USD 5.
Cinema Without Borders
Experimental films, video art and other unconventional forms are eligible, including feature-length films. Particular attention goes to human-rights subjects. Entry fee: USD 5.
Special programmes
Individuals, production companies, festivals and projects may propose a programme or project.
Selection and subsequent use
The festival selects competition films in the three categories for June screenings. After notifying the author or rights holder, it may assign a film to a special or parallel programme; disagreement can result in removal from the programme. Applicants whose films are not selected receive email notification before the official opening. Selected works enter the festival archive and may receive subsequent noncommercial promotional screenings.
The English page's additional production-date clause reads “no later than January 1, 2024”; the Armenian version specifies films produced from that date. Festhome's listing also labels its general short-film range as over 5 minutes, while its Short Films section displays over 3 minutes; the written category regulations state only the 30-minute maximum.
