Jumping Frames explores the intersections of performance, choreography and moving images through international screenings and competition programmes. Presented by Hong Kong’s City Contemporary Dance Company since 2004, the festival was formerly known as the Hong Kong International Dance Video Festival. Its programme includes artist collections, feature films, short works and exchanges with international movement-image festivals, alongside workshops and expanded cinema events.

The 2025 edition, Time Machine, runs from 13 to 23 November in Hong Kong, with screenings at Eaton Hong Kong and Broadway Cinematheque. It brings together work across formats from 16mm film to digital media.
