CinéPride explores sexuality and gender through international LGBTQIA+ cinema at the Katorza cinema in Nantes, France. The festival combines feature films, documentaries and short films, including works rarely shown in France and advance screenings. Discussions with film teams and local LGBTQIA+ associations connect the screenings with questions of representation and rights.
Founded in 2003, CinéPride is a collaboration between NOSIG, Nantes’s LGBTQIA+ centre, and the Katorza. Its volunteer team researches films throughout the year, and the festival is a member of the French federation of LGBTQIA+ film festivals. The dates for the 22nd edition are 23–28 June 2026.

Festival rules
Submissions concern films about the diversity of sexualities and gender identities. The festival considers short, medium-length and feature films, including documentaries, from around the world. Submissions are accepted through the official online form from 1 October to 15 April for the festival in June. The team watches and discusses submitted films before making programming decisions. The form requires the submitter’s name and email, film title, director’s name, release year, duration, country, synopsis and a screener link; access codes can be included in the message. It asks whether French subtitles are available and optionally requests previous festival screenings and awards.
