DOBRA explores experimental cinema through film screenings, performances, discussions and workshops in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Its programmes connect Brazilian and international moving-image practices, with an emphasis on work that questions conventional audiovisual forms. The festival dates back to 2015 and combines digital exhibition with analogue projection, including Super-8, 16mm and 35mm.

The tenth edition centres on Brazilian experimental cinema across different generations, with programmes devised by Cristiana Miranda, Lucas Murari and eight guest curators. Its themes include animation, hand-processed film, archive reappropriation, ecology, and Black, Indigenous and queer perspectives. The dates for the 2025 edition are 3–7 December at Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil Rio de Janeiro, with screenings followed by discussions, alongside a workshop and a performance. Firula Filmes produces the edition.
