Japan-China-Korea Student Animation Festival

The Japan-China-Korea Student Animation Festival centres on student animation and exchanges between animation schools in Japan, China and South Korea. Its programme includes university selections and presentations of films made through the Co-Work collaboration, alongside feature animation screenings, director conversations and discussions on animation education.

The Agency for Cultural Affairs and Tokyo University of the Arts organise the 2016 edition at the university’s Bashamichi campus in Yokohama, Japan. Its dates are 29–31 July 2016. Six participating universities contribute student-film programmes, while a faculty symposium considers the future development of the festival and cooperation between the three countries’ educational institutions.
