Court Métrange – Festival international du court métrage étrange, insolite et fantastique
📝 Sign up as a festival representative to manage this page!
Strange, unusual and fantastic short films form the core of Court Métrange in Rennes, France. Organised by the Unis Vers Sept Arrivé association, the festival combines an international competition with a separate programme for young audiences. Its Méliès d’argent recognises a European fantastic short and qualifies the winner for the Méliès d’or competition. Professional meetings, masterclasses and exhibitions extend the programme beyond screenings.
The association also takes genre cinema to audiences outside the festival through its Métrange Nomade touring programme and runs film education activities. The dates for the 22nd edition are 29 September–4 October 2026, with screenings at the Pathé cinema in Rennes.
