ArtFutura explores the meeting points of digital art, science and emerging technology through screenings, exhibitions, conferences, workshops and performances. Established in 1990, it presents projects in digital animation, interactive design, virtual reality and new media across an international network of participating cities. Its audiovisual strands include FuturaGraphics for digital animation, ArtWorks for documentation of installations and performances, and StreamFutura for work made for social networks. Galería Futura develops the festival’s exhibition projects. The 2026/2027 edition, “¿Sienten las IAs?”, examines artificial intelligence, extended reality and new forms of collaboration between people and machines.
