Skepto International Film Festival welcomes independent short films across genres, styles and production budgets, from documentary and animation to music videos, video art and experimental work. The nonprofit Associazione Culturale Skepto organises the competitive festival in Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy.

Its programme combines Best Short finalists with thematic screenings, documentary films competing for the Alberto Signetto award, and the Skeptyricon selection of satirical and grotesque cinema. Screenings also include work outside the competition, while meetings with filmmakers and discussions explore filmmaking and the subjects addressed on screen.
