Carrefour du cinéma d’animation

Professional shorts and graduation films share the programme with feature previews at Carrefour du cinéma d’animation, a festival organized by the Forum des images in Paris, France. Its Japanim strand explores Japanese animation, while filmmaker encounters and work-in-progress presentations examine how animated films are made. Animation students also take part in the Cadavre exquis animé, creating sequences in public from an image supplied by a guest filmmaker.

The 23rd edition runs from 8–13 December 2026 at the Forum des images. Its programme includes a focus on Canada’s National Film Board, guest filmmaker Naoko Yamada and Sébastien Laudenbach as patron of the Cadavre exquis animé.
