MAMI Mumbai Film Festival spotlights South Asian and South Asian diaspora filmmaking alongside world cinema in Mumbai, India. Organised by the Mumbai Academy of Moving Image, the festival dates back to 1997. Its programme includes the South Asia Competition for features, Focus South Asia for films of different lengths, international cinema and restored classics. Dimensions Mumbai focuses on five-minute films about the city by filmmakers aged 18–25, while an industry programme addresses the craft and business of filmmaking.

The latest confirmed festival dates are 19–24 October 2024. The organiser lists the 2025 edition as cancelled during restructuring, with dates for a 2026 edition unannounced. Alongside the festival, MAMI Independent is a free weekly screening programme, launched in February 2026, for contemporary independent features, documentaries, shorts and experimental films from India and abroad.
