PAF Olomouc explores the relationship between film animation, contemporary art and music, extending its programme into performance, game design and digital culture. The festival dates back to 2000 and forms the principal Olomouc event of the PAF curatorial platform. Its Other Visions CZ competition presents ten moving-image works selected by a different invited curator each year, combining cinema screenings with a gallery presentation.
The 25th edition takes place in Olomouc, Czech Republic, on 3–6 December 2026 under the theme Bestiary. Its focus is the moving image as a changing field of hybrid forms, shaped by technologies, institutions and ways of seeing.
