Côté court explores short forms across fiction, essay film, experimental cinema, video art, animation and documentary. Established in 1992, the festival centres on the Ciné 104 in Pantin, Seine-Saint-Denis. Its selection combines Fiction, Essai/Art vidéo and Prospective Cinéma competitions with Écran libre, Grand Angle and music videos. Prospective Cinéma focuses on works longer than 30 minutes, while Grand Angle brings different genres together outside competition.

The Côté court association organises year-round screenings and filmmaking workshops, a residency with Cinémas 93, and professional encounters for emerging directors and producers. Its project pitch, organised with France Télévisions, awards a France 2 pre-purchase. The dates of the 36th edition are 9–19 June 2027.
