Films made by children share the programme with international cinema for young audiences at International Children's Film Festival Bangladesh. The festival presents features, shorts, animation, documentaries and experimental work, with competitions for child filmmakers, young Bangladeshi filmmakers and international entries. A child jury evaluates films made by children, while workshops and discussions introduce young delegates to filmmaking.

The festival dates back to 2008 and is organised by Children's Film Society Bangladesh, a youth-led organisation. Its programme combines screenings in Dhaka with a wider mission of reaching children across Bangladesh through cinema. The dates for the 16th edition are 7–9 September 2023, with screenings at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy and Alliance Française de Dhaka.
