Mario Puzo Film Festival - Corto e a capo takes cinema into the inland towns of Irpinia and Sannio in Campania, Italy. Organised by Associazione Daena APS, it uses squares, courtyards and other community spaces around Venticano for screenings and conversations. Its competitions include short fiction, animation, documentaries and music videos, alongside independent feature films and longer documentaries. Separate sections address social issues, school filmmaking and environmental sustainability.
The 12th edition dates are 19–24 August 2026. Its theme, “Inversione di tendenza”, examines ways to counter depopulation and decline in inland communities. The programme combines competitions with filmmaker encounters, workshops, exhibitions and activities exploring cinema and the territory.
