The Telluride Film Festival is held each Labor Day weekend in the mountain town of Telluride, Colorado. It is a program of the National Film Preserve, Ltd. The festival is not a competition: it celebrates film from around the world, past, present and future, and does not reveal its program until attendees arrive in town.

Each year a different Guest Director helps shape the selection, and the festival hosts tributes to filmmakers, conversations and panels with the directors and historians who present the films. The dates for the 2026 edition are 4–7 September 2026, and its program includes more than sixty feature films, short films and revival programs.
