Cinémartinique centres Caribbean cinema within a wider programme of films from around the world. Organised by Tropiques Atrium in Fort-de-France, Martinique, it combines documentary and short-film competitions with feature films, animation, screenings for young audiences and professional encounters. Screenings extend to Madiana and Toiles du Sud, while special evenings connect cinema with music and dance.

The festival traces its origins to the Rencontres Cinémas Martinique, established in 2006. Its 20th edition has dates of 16–24 October 2026. The 2026 programme also includes the Fabrique Cinéma Amazonie-Caraïbes workshops, developed with the Institut français to support feature-film projects from Martinique, Guadeloupe and French Guiana.
