Downtown Beloit’s walkable screening venues shape the Beloit International Film Festival, a five-day independent cinema event on the Wisconsin–Illinois state line in the United States. BIFF presents films from the region and around the world, with director talks and informal gatherings alongside the screenings. Its history begins with the first festival in January 2006.
The programme includes narrative and documentary features and shorts, with a separate Wisconsin Shorts Showcase for work connected to the state. Visiting filmmakers receive festival access, including four all-access passes per film for cast and crew. The dates for the 2027 edition are 24–28 February 2027 in Beloit, Wisconsin.
