Transilvania Shorts presents international short films through screenings in Romania’s Transylvania region, including Cluj-Napoca, Sibiu, Brașov and Târgu Mureș. Its competition accepts films under 30 minutes from any production year, with sections for narrative, animation, documentary, experimental and student work, alongside music videos, commercial films, stop motion and human rights films. Selected films receive screenings and promotion, while an industry jury assesses both films and individual creative contributions.

The dates for the 12th edition are 21–25 April 2027. The festival’s programme combines short-film competitions with activities such as industry conferences and workshops.
