About
The VGIK Educational Film Studio is the production facility of the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography (VGIK) in Moscow. It covers the full production cycle of students' educational, coursework and graduation films — fiction, documentary, animation and popular science — and supports stage productions of the university's acting workshops. More than 120 short films are made at the studio each year. It has five sound stages, a camera equipment department, an editing and sound mixing complex, set construction, props and costume stores, and a make-up workshop.
