Filmmaker Avi Mograbi and his Arabic teacher and friend Ali Al Azhari go looking for the remains of Ali’s village, Saffuriya, from which he was expelled during the 1948 Palestinian Nakba. Instead of ruins, they find Halayon , wild asparagus.
