Mile End Kicks

It’s the summer of 2011, and Grace Pine, a restless twenty-something music critic, heads to Montreal chasing her dream of writing the ultimate book about Alanis Morissette's seminal "Jagged Little Pill". What she finds instead is Mile End — a neighbourhood pulsing with guitars, dive bars, and the last gasp of Canada’s early 2000s indie-rock boom.
