Maria Kogan-Lerner

Maria Kogan-Lerner (born 1983, Moscow) is an animation artist, animator and animation teacher. She trained as an animator at Lyceum No. 333, graduating in 2002, and studied at the VGIK college in Sokolov's workshop from 2005 to 2007. She has worked as an animator on films such as Kolokolchik (2008), Plach ptitsy Urutau (2015) and Tarakanishche (2017), and since 2013 has been an artist and animator at Studio 25 and an animation teacher at the MultShkola25 school. She also teaches animation to children and adults with disabilities: in the National Children's Fund project Multterapiya (2010–2012), at the Zhiznenny Put foundation since 2012 and in the Lukovitsa i Eskalator workshop for people who have lived in psychoneurological institutions, and has volunteered at the Centre for Curative Pedagogy since 2011.
