Sarah Benson

Sarah Benson is an Irish director, animator and designer based in Paris. She graduated with a BA (Hons) in Animation from the National Film School at IADT in Dublin and has studied animated film direction at Gobelins Paris. As a 2D animator she has worked for studios including Studio Meala, Boulder Media, Kavaleer Productions and Studio Orca, on productions such as Disney's Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire and Grimsburg. She directed and co-wrote the short Hermit at Studio Meala under Screen Ireland and RTÉ's Frameworks scheme, and wrote and directed Boglach for the Osaka World Expo 2025.
