Natalia Durszewicz

Natalia Durszewicz is a Polish director, animator and illustrator, born in 1995 in Bydgoszcz. She graduated from the Leon Wyczółkowski Secondary Art School there, receiving the Graphic Artist's Diploma in 2015, and went on to study Animated Film and Special Effects at the Lodz Film School. Her student short Beasts Among Us (2021) was selected for the Cinéfondation competition at the 74th Cannes Film Festival, and her independent short Wait for Me in a Dream (2023), produced by FUMI Studio, won the Best Directing and Best Animation awards at the Linz International Film Festival in 2024. Alongside her films she works in commercial animation and motion design and is based in Paris.
