Diana van Houten

Diana van Houten is a Dutch director and animator who studied at HKU University of the Arts Utrecht. She was one of the three members of Moldybyrd Studio, an illustration and animation studio focused on magical realism, myth and painted craftsmanship, which art-directed the animated feature Benjamin Bat, created the visual design for the Anansi de spin franchise and painted backgrounds for LouLou and Nayola. She co-directed the short SpellBreaker (2013), was production designer on De avonturen van Anansi de spin (2021) and Benjamin Bat (2024), and did digital background touch-up for the series Undone and The Sandman.
