Jaromír Kallista

Jaromír Kallista is a Czech film producer who graduated in production from Prague’s film academy in 1964. He worked at Barrandov Studios and headed production at Laterna magika from 1973 to 1988. A long-standing collaborator of Jan Švankmajer, he co-founded the independent production company that became Athanor and taught at FAMU from 1989 to 2025.
