Fernando Lopes
Fernando Lopes (1935–2012) was a Portuguese film director and editor associated with the Portuguese Cinema Novo movement. After working at RTP, he studied at the London School of Film Technique between 1959 and 1961. His films include Belarmino, Uma Abelha na Chuva and O Delfim, combining documentary observation with fiction and literary adaptation. He also worked in television production and appeared as an actor and voice performer.
