Tatyana Vnukevich-Bagdasaryan

Tatyana Vnukevich-Bagdasaryan is a Moscow-based disability rights activist, volunteer and Special Olympics athlete. Having lived for many years in children's and adult residential institutions, she founded the Association of Graduates of Special Boarding Schools, an online community for current and former residents, and writes about life inside psychoneurological institutions; her diaries have been published as a book. She has worked as a communication specialist for the Usher Network of Deafblind International and at a Moscow public services centre.
