Andrey Khrzhanovsky
Андрей Хржановский
Andrey Khrzhanovsky is a Russian director, screenwriter, producer and educator working in animation, documentary and live-action film. He graduated from VGIK, where he studied with Lev Kuleshov and Alexandra Khokhlova, and began working at Soyuzmultfilm in 1962. In 1993 he co-founded School-Studio SHAR, where he serves as artistic director and teaches directing. His animated work includes cut-out films that incorporate drawn animation.
