Amy Kravitz

Amy Kravitz is an animator and teacher whose films, including River Lethe, The Trap, Roost and The Hour Coat, use unusual materials, timing, abstraction and movement to build emotional experience. She studied anthropology at Harvard University and experimental animation at the California Institute of the Arts. One of the principal architects of the animation program at Rhode Island School of Design, she was Honorary President of the Ottawa International Animation Festival in 2022.
