Michał Jacaszek

Michał Jacaszek is a Polish composer, producer and sound artist based in Gdańsk who records as Jacaszek, making electroacoustic music that combines electronically processed sounds with acoustic instruments. He began experimenting with electronic sound while working as a sound engineer at the University of Toruń's Radio Sfera (1997–2003), released his first solo album, Lo-Fi Stories, on Gusstaff Records, and has since recorded for labels including Miasmah, Ghostly International and Touch. He composes scores for film and theatre, including Suicide Room and The Hater, and is a member of the Polish Society for Electroacoustic Music and the Polish Film Academy.
