Guadalupe Arensburg is a television executive who led the short film department of Movistar Plus+ for more than two decades, overseeing the platform's short film acquisitions and Proyecto Corto, its production support programme for Spanish short films. Producers and directors credit her support with helping hundreds of short films get made and launching many careers. In June 2026, when the short film department was closed, she moved to the platform's independent film acquisitions department.
