SYZYGYS

Syzygys is a Japanese microtonal music duo formed in Tokyo in 1985. Hitomi Shimizu plays a reed organ adapted to Harry Partch’s 43-tone scale, while Hiromi Nishida plays violin. Their recordings have been released by Tzadik, and their work includes animation soundtracks for Koji Yamamura.
