Barbara Creutz

Barbara Creutz is an animation director and set designer, born in Chicago and raised in Algeria, who graduated from La Fémis, the French national film school. Her first animated film was selected for the Forum des Images collection in Paris. She directs independent animated films, especially for music and live shows, including work for Parsifal and Don Giovanni at the Paris National Opera, as well as commissioned films. She teaches scenography and co-heads the scenography programme at ENSATT, the national school of theatre arts and techniques in Lyon.
