Max Mörtl

Max Mörtl is a director and animator based in Munich, focused on handcrafted stop-motion animation and music visualisation. He studied communication design at Augsburg University of Applied Sciences and Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, finishing with a diploma in 2012, and has worked as a freelance director and animator since 2010. His clients include Google, Arte and Deutsche Bahn, and his interactive music video Visual Beat won a Red Dot Award (Best of the Best) in 2016.
