Denis Walgenwitz

Denis Walgenwitz is a director, animator and animation producer. A 1991 graduate of the Institut des arts visuels in Orléans, he founded the stop-motion studio Studio image image in Château-Renault in 2000 and later worked as assistant director on Persepolis and on the development and production of features including The Congress, The Red Turtle and My Life as a Courgette. He directed the short A Love of TV's (2007), co-directed the animated documentary Inside Kabul (2023) and founded the Lille production company Have a Nice Day Films.
